Website analytics are separate from your SenecMe profile

The marketing website does not need your SenecMe application profile to measure site use. Analytics records do not contain your SenecMe identity number, medical profile, application documents, FICA information or financial records.

First-party analytics, IP address and country

First-party analytics are written only after you enable the Analytics preference. The website can then record a random visitor identifier, session timing, page paths, a coarse browser family, traffic source/campaign context, conversion events and — where enabled — the internet IP address associated with the analytics session and an approximate country derived from that IP address. IP addresses are retained for a shorter period than the general analytics history and are available only in the authenticated Admin analytics area.

Where server-side country lookup is enabled, the IP address may be sent to the configured IP-to-country lookup service solely to obtain a country result. SenecMe does not send your name, email address, SenecMe profile, medical information or application documents with that lookup. Country information is approximate and can be affected by VPNs, mobile networks, corporate networks and proxy services.

Contact enquiries

If you use the Contact SenecMe form, SenecMe.info records the contact details and message you choose to provide so an administrator can review and respond to your enquiry. The general contact form is not intended for passwords, identity documents, medical records, Manual Request evidence or other sensitive profile information.

Manual Requests are handled separately on SenecMe.co.za and are not submitted through the general SenecMe.info contact form.

Email Updates

If you explicitly subscribe to SenecMe Email Updates, the marketing website records your name, email address, the consent wording/version, the page or form source and limited campaign context associated with the signup. This creates a local audit/retry record and the server then synchronises the subscription to the configured Mailchimp audience. The Mailchimp API credential remains private on the server and is never exposed in browser JavaScript.

Email subscription is independent of cookie consent. Rejecting Marketing cookies does not prevent you from choosing to receive email, and starting a SenecMe Trial does not automatically create a marketing-email subscription. Marketing emails sent through Mailchimp include the applicable unsubscribe mechanism.

Campaign and registration attribution

Campaign parameters such as UTM values and, where present, a Google click identifier can be held in the current website session so the journey is not lost while you browse. If Analytics is enabled, that context can also be stored in the first-party analytics database. If you choose to continue to the South African SenecMe application, the public site creates a short-lived signed handoff containing only the fields permitted by the receiving platform. Google click identifiers are not included in the current signed handoff contract.

Security and separation

The public marketing site and the South African SenecMe application use separate databases. The signed handoff does not carry account, FICA, medical, policy, Will or financial data.
