Getting started
What is SenecMe?
SenecMe is a life-readiness platform that starts with emergency and ICE preparation and can grow into a structured life-file for important contacts, documents, policies, passwords, professionals and family handover information.
Where should I start?
Start small. Add one emergency contact, prepare the ICE information you choose to make available, generate your QR and put one copy somewhere sensible. You can build the wider life-readiness information over time.
Do I have to complete everything in one sitting?
No. SenecMe is intended to be built and reviewed over time. The Trial Guide deliberately focuses the first session on a few useful emergency-readiness steps rather than asking you to populate the entire platform at once.
Where do I create or manage my SenecMe account?
Member registration, login and account management take place on SenecMe.co.za. SenecMe.info is the public information, marketing, articles and support website.
Emergency & ICE
What does the SenecMe ICE QR do?
It opens the emergency information the member has chosen to make available through the SenecMe ICE workflow. It is intended to provide a practical starting point when the member may not be able to explain the information themselves.
Does the ICE QR depend on my own phone?
No. The QR does not depend on your own phone being unlocked, powered and accessible. The device scanning the QR still needs connectivity to open the web destination.
Does the ICE QR work without internet access?
No. The scanning device needs connectivity to open the web destination. The QR should not be described as an offline emergency-information system.
Does an ICE QR expose my whole SenecMe profile?
No. Preparing information in SenecMe is not the same as publishing your whole profile. The ICE workflow is based on the emergency information the member has chosen to make available.
Will an emergency responder definitely scan my QR?
No. SenecMe cannot guarantee that a responder or another person will notice or scan a QR. Good placement and multiple sensible copies can improve discoverability, but they do not create a guarantee.
Where can I place or print the QR?
The ICE Placement & Printing Guide covers cards, waterproof labels, outdoor and marine materials, fabric or gear tags and activity-specific ideas for cycling, running, hiking, motorcycling, motocross, kitesurfing, diving, boating and more.
Open the Placement & Printing Guide →Account access & Manual Request
I can still manage my own account. Should I use Manual Request?
No. If the member can still use normal account recovery, login or sharing, those remain the correct routes. Manual Request is designed for exceptional circumstances where normal access cannot be provided by the member.
What is a Manual Request?
It is a deliberately controlled access-review process on SenecMe.co.za. It requires requester details, a clear reason and documentary proof, followed by matching, a protection period, repeated member notification, prior-authority checks and human administrator review.
Is a Manual Request instant?
No. Once matched, the process includes an approximately four-to-five working-day protection period while repeated attempts are made to contact the member. The member can decline the request.
Can any relative make a Manual Request and receive access?
No. A family relationship or knowledge of the member is not enough by itself. After the protection period, SenecMe checks whether the requester is one of the people the member previously authorised for information release.
Where do I start a Manual Request?
Use the Manual Request information page on SenecMe.info to understand the safeguards, then continue to the actual Manual Request form on SenecMe.co.za.

What plans does SenecMe use?
The public plan structure is Trial, Basic/Barebones, Full House and Custom Plans. Basic/Barebones is currently R46.00 per month or R552 annually, and Full House is currently R93.38 per month or R1,120.56 annually. The Plans page is the authoritative public pricing page.
What is Full House?
Full House is the broader SenecMe experience for people who want to organise more than the emergency starting point, including the wider life-readiness and family-handover picture.
What is a Custom Plan?
A Custom Plan is designed for multiple separate SenecMe users with one payer, such as a family or organisation. Paying for another person does not automatically give the payer access to that person's private SenecMe information.
Does SenecMe replace a will, executor or professional adviser?
No. SenecMe can help organise information around legal, financial, medical and estate relationships, but it does not replace a valid will, executor, attorney, financial adviser, insurer, medical professional or other professional requirement.
Privacy, security & support
Is SenecMe.info the same system as my private SenecMe profile?
No. SenecMe.info is the public information and marketing site. SenecMe.co.za is the member application. They use separate databases, and the public site does not receive normal member profile, medical, FICA, policy, will or financial data through the marketing handoff.
What does the public website measure?
Optional first-party analytics can record site usage, campaign context and, where enabled after Analytics consent, the visit IP address and approximate country. The public Privacy and Cookie Policy pages explain these choices and retention rules.
Does subscribing to Email Updates mean I accepted marketing cookies?
No. Email Updates consent and cookie consent are separate choices. Starting a Trial also does not automatically subscribe you to marketing email.
How do I contact SenecMe?
Use the Contact SenecMe page for general questions, your own account, plans, billing or technical support. Do not submit passwords, identity documents, medical records or Manual Request evidence through the general contact form.
Contact SenecMe →Where can I read more about security?
The Security & Trust page explains the public-site security controls, system separation, ICE disclosure boundary, Manual Request safeguards and the limits SenecMe does not claim to eliminate.
Open Security & Trust →Tell us what you are trying to do.
Use Contact SenecMe for ordinary service, account, billing or technical questions. If you need access to another person's profile, use the Manual Request route instead.
